It's fair to say my mum never understood her daughter and thought the answer was to find me a man ,and settle down and be sensible. I love travelling and whenever I got home and rang her , she would say ..ohhhhh its lovely to hear your voice you have been gone ages ......It would be lovely to hear her voice now so perhaps now I understand why she said that . She missed my dad , her Doug so much and never really lived well without him ,For years I have had Mothers Day with her,and today i cant be with her or visit my daughter. So I'm off to Church to put daffodils on the altar for her.
